A Brief Glimpse of Our World

Our Nation and world are in seriously deep weeds. Perhaps as never before. In America, the political scene is in chaos even though our President seems to have things under control, for now. On the other side of the pond in Western Europe there is serious concern about the possibility of a 3rd World War involving the USA. And, the Middle East is, and has been for centuries, a time-bomb.              

I have found it compelling knowing many people among those who refer to themselves as Christians laugh at the idea of God being in complete control of everything. These people, at least, should know better, and should have no fear.

God tells us this, “Remember this, so you can be brave. Think about it, you rebels! Remember what I accomplished in antiquity. Truly I am God, I have no peer; I am God, and there is none like me, who announces the end from the beginning and reveals beforehand what has not yet occurred; who says, ‘My plan will be realized, I will accomplish what I desire;’ who summons an eagle from the east, from a distant land, one who carries out my plan. Yes, I have decreed, yes, I will bring it to pass; I have formulated a plan, yes, I will carry it out.” Isaiah 46:8-11 NET2.

And our Savior tells us, “And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20. We who know Him should have not fear, but common understanding and bravery because we are His Temple.
